Happy Sweet Mother's Day!

This week was the end of Maddy's 9th grade softball season. She did well and improved in her sport. She played on the JV team, but when the number of players dwindled at the end of the season, the final two JV games were cancelled and the coach invited three JV players to join the Varsity for the final games of the year. Maddy was one of the three he chose! Go Maddy! Varsity as a freshman!

Ben gets buried in the sand pile. They take turns burying each other. They like it because the sand under the ground is cooler. It has been in the high 80's all week.
As we were driving to church we noticed that the Lilac's are in full bloom. We stopped to get pictures taken in front of the Lilac bushes.
Barry was with us since it was mother's day and his early morning church meetings were cancelled, so I had Maddy take our picture. Cute couple, if I do say so myself.
Barry made my favorite Mother's day treat. Baked Alaska with chocolate chip brownie and mint n'chip ice cream. Yum!

Have a great week!
